There are many people walking this earth who have “normal? appetites. A normal appetite is when a person doesn’t ever get any kind of the smallest inkling to overeat. This means their life is free from having to make any kind of effort to control their eating because their eating controls itself.

Sounds unbelievable, right, but you already know someone just like this. You might assume they either have great willpower or they just aren’t interested in food. In fact, neither of these theories is correct, they aren’t using any willpower, nor are they disinterested in food. They aren’t using any willpower because they are naturally protected against overeating and in fact, they are the most interested in food out of everyone because food only gives them pleasure as there is no negative connetations about eating because they never feel guilty or overfull because they never overeat!
You might hear them say they have good willpower, but they only say this because they also assume it to be true, because so many people talk about willpower with eating. They also talk about being “full” or “stuffed” but they are referring to a gentle feeling in their stomach and the powerful internal sensation that forces them to stop eating way before they get overfull.
People who aren’t still in possession of this natural “overeating protection” (we were all born with it) are the ones actually using willpower because they are controlling their eating from the outside of the body using the power of the mind. They are exceptionally interested in food – unnaturally attracted to it - but because they are trying very hard to avoid it. They experience what they think are positive sensations when they eat but in actual fact they are experiencing is a powerful relief of discomfort when they eventually eat.
